I finally got around to integrating my blog into the main site, so this will be the last post on my blogger acount. The styling of the whole site is somewhat minimal for the moment, but everything works, so I'll relax a bit for now. See you all at the new artblog.

Webcomic: Intermission

I’m on vacation, free to release my destructive tendencies on others then my co-workers. Now if you’ll excuse me, I shall lay motionless on the ground for the rest of the week.
Also, the title of the webcomic will change with every new comic from now on. This is to reflect the sheer insanity that runs my daily life.

Linocut: Toergenew

Working on a linocut for a friend who's into Russian literature. Subject of choice: hunting stories of Toergenew. The lino is a bit of a challenge, since I've only made one linocut before. The book I've been reading features a lot of woodcuts, which add to the stories' somewhat antique, rural feeling. And I've been meaning to do some linocuts for a while now, so the decision was quickly made. I'm going for more a comicbook approach though. Think 'Mike Mignola', in stead of 'Albrecht Dürer'.

And so this accidental 5-part story-arc comes to a close. A personal footnote that probably doen’t make much sense, but honestly, you shouldn’t expect that from an online comic. Go read Achewood or Sam and Fuzzy. That’s the stuff that counts.

Pluche twins

I made a couple of new pluches. Been looking for a model/shapes that's quick to put together and easy to customize. These are basically an identical front and back sowed together, the principle of pluches like the Uglydolls.
